Through storytelling and tasting, we'll explore cacao's history, science, health benefits, spirituality, and the process of turning cacao into chocolate. We'll weave together a tapestry that's both beautiful and dark, sweet and bitter, just like chocolate itself.
We'll also discover how different origins, fermentation, and roasting styles shape chocolate's flavor, using a tasting map to guide our palates.
This experience will change the way you look at cacao and deepen your relationship with the "food of the gods," while discovering what the real value of cacao is all about.
TICKET / ADMISSION / REGISTRATION
Online chocolate tasting experience lasting approximately 1-2 hours. Chocolate is not included. Bring your own quality, ethically sourced craft bean-to-bar chocolates. Justin will connect with you beforehand to help you find chocolates to purchase locally and provide a chocolate tasting flavor profile map. Price is $22 per person, with sliding-scale options available depending on group size or family pricing. Contact Justin to discuss pricing if needed.
VENUE INFORMATION
Join me virtually from Ometepe Island in Nicaragua, a one-of-a-kind place where two volcanoes meet in the middle of Central America's largest lake. Surrounded by fresh spring water and lush jungle, there truly is no other place like Ometepe. I'll bring the world of cacao right to your home through an interactive chocolate tasting hosted live on Zoom. All the delicious discoveries, without any of the jungle bugs!
